Michel D. Brathwaite, MD, is a native of London, England, who graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and received his Medical Degree from Temple University School of Medicine.
Dr. Brathwaite has served as Section Chief of Nephrology at the WellStar Atlanta Medical Center since 2001 and as Medical Director for the East Point and Linden (Home) DaVita dialysis centers since 2012. His passion for teaching has kept him at Morehouse School of Medicine for the past 26 years as an adjunct clinical assistant professor and as a volunteer teacher at Atlanta Medical Center and Emory Family Practice. Over the years, he has received awards for his outstanding service as a nephrologist as well as for his prowess as a teacher of aspiring nephrologists.
Dr. Brathwaite lives in Atlanta with his wife and two sons.
